Job Description
Kindersley Transport Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires a PM Dock Supervisor for their Regina, SK location, who will be responsible and accountable for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of trailers.
§
This position is 5 days a
week, 3:00pm – 12:00am
Responsibilities
§
Provide leadership to a
team of Dockworkers to ensure branch operational and safety goals are met
§
Ensure proper load
temperatures are used on protected freight
§
Ensure the proper loading
and unloading of freight
§
Monitor and maintain all
schedules (departure time, arrival time, loading schedules, etc.)
§
Recruit, orientate,
train, and supervise dockworkers
§
Maintain a clean and safe
working environment
Qualifications
§ Minimum 2 years experience in LTL freight transportation
§ Knowledge and experience in handling various kinds of freight
§ Supervisory skills
§ Management and decision-making skills
§ Excellent organizational and communication skills
