Jessica Reid Awarded STA Brandt Truck & Trailer Dispatcher of the Year

Oct 31, 2024

With over 14 years of experience in the trucking industry and nine years with Aero Delivery, Jessica has established herself as a central figure in logistics and dispatch. As the Logistics Coordinator, she skillfully manages and dispatches the highway fleet and third-party delivery operations, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction across all routes. Jessica also serves as the Dispatch Office Manager, overseeing daily office operations and acting as a 24-hour on-call contact, all while leading Aero Delivery’s Social Committee.

Jessica’s commitment to the trucking industry goes far beyond her professional responsibilities. Growing up in a trucking family, her passion for the field began at a young age, learning from her father who owned a trucking company after his service with the PPCLI Supply Squadron in the Canadian Military. From riding along on deliveries to handling invoicing, Jessica has trucking “in her blood” and has carried her early experiences into a successful, dedicated career.

Jessica’s positive impact extends to the Saskatchewan Trucking Association itself, where she has contributed to various projects over the years. She also played a key role in the early stages of the STA’s Women’s Shifting Gears program, an initiative aimed at increasing women’s representation in the trucking industry. Her dedication to the industry and community is also evident in her work with the Mad Dogs Football Club, where she serves on the board and leads fundraising efforts to support the nonprofit.

“Jessica’s dedication to the trucking industry and her community makes her a highly deserving recipient of the STA Brandt Truck & Trailer Dispatcher of the Year award.” Says STA Executive Director, Susan Ewart.

The STA congratulates Jessica Reid on her well-earned recognition and applauds her remarkable contributions to the trucking industry and her unwavering commitment to excellence.
