Food Safety for Drivers

Transporting food products requires strict attention to hygiene, temperature control, trailer sanitation, and regulatory compliance. The Food Safety for Drivers course prepares drivers to safely handle, load, and transport food while preventing contamination and ensuring product integrity throughout the trip.

This course provides a practical understanding of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and the responsibilities commercial drivers must follow when transporting food for human consumption. Drivers will learn how to prepare equipment, maintain proper cleanliness, and monitor cargo to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
