Practical Cargo Securement Metal Coils – Flat Bed

Transporting metal coils on flatbed trucks requires precise techniques and attention to detail due to the coils’ heavy weight and potential to roll or shift. The Practical Cargo Securement – Metal Coils (Flatbed) course provides drivers with the skills and knowledge to safely transport one or more coils with a combined weight of 5,000 lbs (2,268 kg) or more.

This course emphasizes proper training, load orientation, and securement methods to reduce the risk of accidents, load damage, or regulatory violations. Drivers will gain hands-on knowledge to secure coils effectively in real-world flatbed operations
