Job Description
Ghost Transportation Services is growing,
and we’re looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator to join our brokerage
team. This is a key role for an experienced logistics professional who thrives
in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and knows how to
keep freight moving efficiently and profitably.
This position plays a hands-on role in
managing daily freight operations while supporting customers, carriers, and
internal teams to deliver reliable, high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage freight from pickup to delivery
· Coordinate with internal company assets,
departments and locations along with outside carriers to ensure proper flow and
management of freight
· Provide project and single shipment rates
· Source carriers and negotiate competitive
rates
· Build and maintain strong carrier and
customer relationships
· Track shipments and resolve service issues
quickly
· Ensure accurate load setup, documentation,
and billing
· Provide proactive customer updates
·
Support
process improvements and company growth
·
Assist
with mentoring junior team members
Qualifications
· 5+ years in freight brokerage, logistics,
or transportation coordination
· Strong understanding of freight markets and
carrier sourcing
· Proven negotiation and problem-solving
skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a
fast-paced setting
· Strong evidence of critical thinking
abilities
·
Strong
communication and organizational skills
·
Experience
with TMS systems
· CCLMP designation is a benefit

Compensation
- $70,000–$75,000
annually (depending on experience)
