The deadline according to CBSA is April 19, 2025 for importers to enroll.
While the requirements apply to importers, the newsletter goes on to explain the potential impact this requirement could have on carriers. Carriers who cross the border inbound to Canada from the United States are strongly encouraged to review the document in full as it offers a number of pointers for how carriers can prepare themselves, questions they can ask their customers as well as notification resources available from CBSA to receive real-time updates of shipment releases and importer compliance with RPP.
