While tandem steer tridem drive configurations are allowed by regulation in Saskatchewan, updated policy now allows for additional weight on Saskatchewan’s primary highway network by either annual or single trip permits. With this update, an additional 1,000 kgs of weight is permitted for tridem drive trucks, as well as an increased axle spread on tandem steers.
