This course discusses the importance of securing cargo during transport, especially when crossing the border, fulfilling the requirements of CTPAT. The course outlines key areas where drivers must pay extra attention to security, what to watch for and the steps to take in each situation. Topics include how security awareness can protect you, your vehicle and your cargo, steps to keeping your vehicle secure, security points where special precautions should be taken and how to properly handle a hijacking if it occurs.

Online learning content is equivalent to a 1-hour classroom course. Course concludes with a knowledge exam to validate learning.
